West Edge

West Edge, a new mixed-use development along Los Angeles’ Metro E (Expo) Line, serves as a vibrant hub and gateway to the city’s growing technology, entertainment, and media district. Our scope as landscape architect encompasses amenity spaces, a shared courtyard, and a half-acre public plaza linking its retail, commercial, and residential uses.

The plaza amplifies the strong indoor-outdoor connections that are at the heart of the Southern Californian lifestyle, especially in West LA. Built-in exterior benches offer shaded areas to gather, relax, and take in all the lively complex has to offer.

A paseo with green space and additional seating cuts diagonally through the property, extending community spaces and connecting the site to the surrounding urban environment. Situated at the busy intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Bundy Drive, the transit-oriented development provides a dynamic open space for all to live, work, and play.
