550 Corporate Center Plaza

A 1960’s plaza, originally designed as a pass-through space with no intention of creating areas for social interaction and engagement was redesigned for the future.  Our concept transformed the entry plaza from a static geometric formalism into active forms that shape specific spaces for movement, rest, and interaction.  Programed layers organize the movement towards the building for tenants while various seating spaces are distributed throughout the space.  The restaurant activates the evening hours, with the adjacency to the plaza that may be engaged with live music, catering, and public/private events.  The cafe activates the space during the morning and afternoon hours.
